Courage Over Fear: Living Joshua 1:9 at One Heart Church
October has a way of surfacing what we would rather not look at. The year is winding down, the news is loud, and a lot of people are quietly carrying worry about a job, a diagnosis, a marriage, or a child. Fear rarely announces itself. It just sits in the background and shrinks the life we were meant to live.
Joshua 1:9 speaks directly into that. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. The command to be brave comes bundled with a promise, and the promise is a Person. Courage is not something we manufacture on our own. It grows out of knowing who is walking beside us.
At One Heart Church, we see this play out every week.
